It begins and ends with Graham

29 students and 6 members of staff from the photography department at TVU wearily arrived in Prague after a 19 hour coach journey on Sunday morning. We nearly arrived with 28 students, having nearly to leave Graham behind, as he had arrived without his passport. There followed a mad dash by his dad down to M4 to rendezvous with our coach at Heston Services to hand over the forgotten passport. The journey then passed without major incident, through fog, rain and unpopular DVD choices of Lilia 4 Ever which depressed everyone and The African Queen, which sent all to sleep....Our two Welsh coach drivers saved the day by playing a classic episode of Only Fools and Horses to cheer us all up. Why fly when you're having this much fun?

Once freshened up Matt Finn took all on a orienting tour of Prague. In the evening the whole group enjoyed a marvelous meal at the ornate restaurant in the Karlin Theatre. Again Matt Finn gave a inspirational speech! Most were then tucked up in bed by a reasonable hour, with some students even rising at dawn to photograph.
Graham even made up for his passport faux-pas with an impromptu piano performance in the restaurant.
